It was a chilly foggy morning today. I went out on a test ride. This is my winter bike, now ready for the colder, damper months.
Mudguards are a must, of course. This one is a bit of a parts bin special – the left shifter doesn’t work, but I’ve fitted a bar end shifter to handle the front derailleur. It also disc brakes. These aren’t essential for winter as decent rim brakes are nearly as good.
